Apple puffs

I had a sudden craving for apple pies over the weekend and what else to do but to make some myself? I'm not adept at making shortbread crusts so I decided to make apple puffs instead. I like my apples cooked soft over a hot stove - the old-fashioned apple pie. When the apples were ready, I filled them into puff pastry and popped them into the oven and voila! Home-made apple puffs oozing with soft apples! They are absolutely scrumptious!
